# Google Play

Give Lysto access to read and reply to your Google Play reviews by inviting our service account. Takes about 5 minutes.

**Give Lysto access to read and reply to your app reviews**

This takes about 5 minutes. You invite our service account into your Google Play Console and give it two permissions: reading your reviews and reports, and replying to reviews. We can't change your app, pricing, builds or finances, and you can remove our access at any time.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Before you start:** have the service account email we sent you ready. It looks like this:

`play-reviews-reader@playstore-review-498216.iam.gserviceaccount.com`
{% endhint %}

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Invite a new user

In the Google Play Console ([play.google.com/console](https://play.google.com/console)), open **Users and permissions** in the left sidebar, click **Invite new users**, and paste our service account email into the **Email address** field:

```
play-reviews-reader@playstore-review-498216.iam.gserviceaccount.com
```

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Add your app

On the **App permissions** tab, click **Add app**, tick the game you want to connect, and click **Apply**.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Allow replies to reviews

Still under **App permissions**, in the **User feedback** section, turn on **"Reply to reviews"**. This lets us post replies to player reviews for you.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Give read access, then invite

Open the **Account permissions** tab and turn on **"View app information and download bulk reports (read-only)"**. This lets us read your reviews and review reports. Then click **Invite user** to finish.

{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
To turn on replies, you also paste your **Cloud Storage URI** from Play Console into Eirin's store connections in the dashboard.
{% endhint %}

## What this access allows, and what it doesn't

* **Read reviews:** we read review text, ratings and reply details.
* **Reply to reviews:** we can post replies to reviews for you.
* We can't change your app, pricing, builds, finances or store listing.
* **Remove access at any time:** Users and permissions → our service account → Remove access.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Questions?** Just reach out. We're happy to do this with you on a quick call.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://eirin-ai.gitbook.io/eirin-ai-docs/connect-your-sources/google-play.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
