# Profile and settings

Every setting from the hiring wizard lives on your agent's profile, one tab each, and can be changed any time.

Everything you chose while hiring can be changed later on the agent's **profile**. Open it from the home page by clicking **Profile** on the agent's card, or click the agent's name under **Your team** in the sidebar.

The header shows the agent's name and status, plus two buttons: **Workspace** opens its replies, reports and chat (see [Your workspace](/eirin-ai-docs/working-with-eirin/your-workspace.md)), and **Disable** pauses the agent.

## The tabs

| Tab | What it shows | What you can change |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overview** | Manager, game, channels, what it's **listening to**, what it **can act** on (with the auto-reply state), schedule, reply guardrails and report guardrails. Read-only summary. | Nothing here. Each area links to its own tab. |
| **Sources** | The store and community sources it monitors. Discord and Instagram are connected here too: **Connect Discord** installs the Lysto bot, **Connect Instagram** authorises your business or creator account. | Switch sources on or off, then click **Save sources**. The store app cannot be changed after onboarding. |
| **Knowledge** | What the agent answers players from: Game FAQ, Patch Notes, Game Bible and Other Information, as entries you can search and edit. | Upload, paste, link or write entries. See [Knowledge base](/eirin-ai-docs/working-with-eirin/knowledge-base.md). |
| **Playbook** | Guardrails for how Eirin replies, and guardrails for how Eirin generates reports. | Add or remove rules, then click **Save playbook**. |
| **Reporting** | The report schedule and the reporting channels (webchat, work email, Gmail, Slack). | Change frequency, time or timezone. Connect Gmail or Slack. |
| **Reply setup** | Store connections, Social connections (Discord and Instagram, shown once connected), reply rules, previews and a test bench. A badge on the tab counts the setup steps still open. | See [Set up auto-replies](/eirin-ai-docs/getting-started/set-up-auto-replies.md). |

## Disable an agent

Click **Disable** in the profile header. The dialog explains what happens while the agent is disabled:

* It stops replying to its inbound emails.
* It stops generating scheduled reports (its schedule is paused).
* It stops drafting or posting store-review replies.
* It disappears from the sidebar and is no longer available for chat.

Its configuration and email address are kept, so you can re-enable it any time from the same button. Click **Disable agent** to confirm, or **Cancel**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://eirin-ai.gitbook.io/eirin-ai-docs/working-with-eirin/profile-and-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
